Alex Baeumler

Vox/Keys/Guitar/Bass

Alex was born in a German village where fairy tales were dark and harrowing. These stories warped the young boy’s mind and lead him to become the twisted sort he is. Apart from his decidedly dark side, Alex abounds with “golden retriever energy” that makes him a playful, albeit mischievous sort. His interest and fluency in music is unmatched. He brings the whole package to bear in CHONK.

Ben Jahn

Vox/Guitar/Bass

Born into a musical family in Washington State, Ben Jahn has been immersed in music for as long as he can remember. From a young age, he explored a wide range of styles—from jazz and funk to rock, soul, and experimental sounds—always drawn to the emotional pull and energy of rhythm. While he’s played in many settings over the years, from intimate acoustic ensembles to larger electric projects, Ben feels most at home in groove-oriented, high-energy music that invites both movement and connection.

Rooted in the belief that music is as much about feel as it is about form, Ben brings a deep sense of pocket, sensitivity, and presence to every project he joins. Whether locking in with a drummer, layering texture and harmony, or supporting a song’s emotional core, he approaches each performance with authenticity and intention.

David Citrin

Vox/Guitar

Born and raised in New Jersey, but calling Seattle home since 2005, David’s musical journey began with the rock, folk, and classical records of his parents playing in the background. Those early sounds became the foundation for a musical style that blends emotion with storytelling.

Music has always been an outlet for David: a way to connect, heal, and express. Rooted in the sounds he grew up listening to, his playing brings together those influences to create music that feels familiar yet exploratory.
